CTS Clinical Training Specialists (CTS) – On Site Orientation & Training
We provide On-site clinical training and orientations for all nurses. Upon completion of us are strict and stringent recruitment and selection process, our nurses are introduced to various medical and healthcare environments (Hospitals, Clinics, Occupational Healthcare Clinics, School, Psychiatric Clinics) by our qualified and experienced Clinical Training Specialists (CTS) as part of the on-site orientation. During these on-site orientations our nurses are guided through the client’s internal policies, clinical documentation processes and compliance, the physical lay-out of the facility and emergency response systems. The orientations also cover various compliance requirements that are not limited to.
- Essential Competencies.
- SANC code of ethics and policies.
- Uniform policy and identification requirements i.e. name tags and distinguishing devices.
- Incident management and processes
- Infection Control & Prevention (IPC)
- Occupational Health & Safety policies
- Risk Management policies
When the nurses successfully complete their orientation program, they are eligible to be booked for shifts and a portfolio of evidence (POE) is created on their profile. Our Clinical Training Specialists CTS then provide our nurses with follow up support in form of competency-based supervision and skills development (One On One supervisions, Skills Development and Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
